About Your Psychologist
Your treating psychologist, Fouad Yasin, is a registered psychologist, compliant with AHPRA standards and guided by the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Code of Ethics. He is also a member of the APS, Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi), and American Psychological Association (APA). He has strong focus on evidence-based therapies, comprehensive psychological assessments, and high-quality diagnostic, medico-legal, and NDIS report writing. His professional background also includes extensive experience with Lifeline Australia, Child Protection services, and Brain and Mind research at the University of Sydney.

Psychology Session Under Private Health Insurance

Claim psychology sessions through eligible private health insurance. We provide confidential, tailored psychological therapy to support emotional wellbeing, coping strategies, and long-term mental health outcomes. Rebates vary depending on your fund and level of cover.
Private Psychological Consultation
$175.00 per 50-minute session | No referral required
Flexible self-funded psychology sessions with no referral needed. Ideal for individuals seeking immediate access to therapy, psychological letters of supports or recommendations, or ongoing mental health support without Medicare or insurance requirements. Additional costs may vary for psychological letters and recommendations.
Diagnostic Psychological Report
$250 Initial Consultation | Cognitive & Neurodevelopmental Assessments
Comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic reports requested by government agencies, including Department of Education, and Centrelink.
Assessments may include cognitive (WISC, WAIS), neurodevelopmental (Autism, ADHD), and mental health evaluations (PAI), with reports written to meet formal evidentiary and reporting requirements.
Total cost of assessment and report writing will be disclosed after the initial assessment is complete.
NDIS Psychological Therapy
$232.99 per 50-minute session | NDIS funded
NDIS-funded psychological therapy supporting participants to build emotional regulation, coping skills, independence, and community participation. Therapy is aligned with your NDIS goals and delivered by experienced psychologists familiar with NDIS requirements.
NDIS Psychological and Functional Assessment and Report
$232.99 per hour | Cognitive, Neurodevelopmental, & NDIS compliant reporting
Diagnostic Reports requested by government agencies, such as schools, Court,, as well Comprehensive psychological functional capacity assessments and detailed reports for NDIS access requests, plan reviews, SIL/ILO applications, and funding justification. Reports clearly link functional impairments to support needs and NDIS reasonable and necessary criteria.
Working Development Order (WDO)
$195.00 initial session | Rebate for initial session. Bulk-billed ongoing sessions.
Psychology services delivered under a Working Development Order to support individuals addressing fines through mental health treatment. Services focus on emotional regulation, compliance capacity, and psychosocial stability, with bulk-billed sessions following the initial appointment.
Work Cover/CTP Insurance
Fees in line with current WorkCover & CTP schedules
Psychological assessment and treatment for work-related injuries and motor vehicle accident claims. Services focus on recovery, psychological rehabilitation, functional improvement, and return-to-work readiness, in line with insurer requirements.

Yes. Medicare rebates are available with a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP. The rebate amount depends on current Medicare rates and your eligibility.
Standard sessions are 50 minutes. Assessment and report-based services may require longer or multiple appointments, depending on complexity.
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy used to treat trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and distressing life experiences. EMDR helps the brain process traumatic memories so they become less emotionally overwhelming.
A psychological functional assessment evaluates how a person’s mental health impacts their daily functioning. Reports link functional impairments to support needs and are written to meet NDIS reasonable and necessary criteria.
Yes. We provide psychology services under Working Development Orders, supporting individuals to address mental health factors contributing to fines. After the initial session, remaining sessions are bulk-billed under WDO arrangements.

Our Ethical & Professional Responsibilities
Purpose of Information Collection
As part of providing psychological services, your psychologist will need to collect and record personal information that is relevant to your situation. This may include your name, contact details, medical and developmental history, and other information relevant to treatment. The purpose of this collection is to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care that meets your individual needs. Information is collected and stored securely in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the APS Code of Ethics.
Access to Information
You have the right to access your personal information held by your psychologist. Access can be requested in writing and will be provided unless doing so would create serious risk of harm, infringe on another person’s privacy, or be otherwise restricted by law. Where appropriate, access may be provided in summary form, and an administrative fee may apply for collating records.
Confidentiality
Information discussed in sessions remains confidential. However, confidentiality may be broken in the following circumstances: - Where there is a serious and immediate risk of harm to you or others. - Where disclosure is required by law, such as in cases of child abuse, or when records are subpoenaed. - Where you provide written consent for your information to be shared with another professional or service. Your psychologist may also discuss your case in supervision for professional development, but your identity will always remain protected.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur the full session fee, which is non-refundable. This applies across all funding types (Private, Medicare, NDIS, WorkCover). Cancellation fees are non-refundable and cannot be claimed through Medicare, NDIS, or health funds.
Text Message Reminders
Mindcare Partners provides SMS reminders as a courtesy to help clients remember appointments. While reminders are sent in advance, technical issues may occasionally prevent delivery. It remains your responsibility to attend scheduled appointments, regardless of whether a reminder is received. By signing this form, you consent to receiving appointment reminders via SMS.
